Wire Wrapping 101 for Cabochons (Bundle Wire Wrapping)
Learn the basics of bundle wire wrapping for glass or stones. Instead of using a ground
channel in your glass or stone to hold your wire, you’ll learn how to use multiple wires to
create attractive, bundled bezels for your cabochons. Bring your own fused glass
cabochon, up to approximately 1 1/2” x 1 1/2”; all other materials provided. If you do not
have a fused glass cabochon, one can be purchased at Full Spectrum. Minimum of 3

Stained Glass - Beginning Copper Foil
Do your chores outside in the morning, then come spend the afternoons indoors with us!
Learn Stained Glass in a month! This is the Tiffany style of creating stained glass.
Students will complete two projects: a sampler piece, and a small panel with
approximately 25-35 pieces. Twenty hours of instruction covers most basic cutting
techniques, glass grinding, foiling, soldering and finishing. Tools and materials are
provided for sampler piece. Students are responsible for purchase of pattern materials,

Glass-on-Glass Mosaic – Window Hanger
This class teaches basic glass-on-glass mosaic techniques to create a window hanger
with a design of your choice. Students will learn several methods for cutting glass; which
glues are preferable for working with glass-on-glass; basic mosaic design techniques; and
how to grout. Wooden frame, plate and stained glass, glue, and use of tools will be
provided. The second session, which is the grouting session, will be scheduled with class
participants and will only take about an hour.

Metal Art Clay – Mokumé-gané - Silver Blended with Copper
Mokumé-gané is an ancient Japanese technique that bonds many layers of metals into a
single piece that is then worked into beautiful patterns, many of which look like wood
grain. Learn to combine metal clays to achieve the desired layered effects and
incorporate the wood grain pattern into beautiful jewelry. All tools and materials are
provided. Some prior metal art clay experience is preferred.

Silver Art Clay Level 1 Certification
Complete Seven Silver Art Clay projects and earn a Level 1 Instructor certification. The
Level 1 course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of Art Clay. The curriculum
consists of 7 different projects taught over at least 24 hours of instruction, and covers a
variety of techniques. Some of the techniques include use of organic forms, creating flat
and round-shank rings, addition and firing of gemstones and glass, creating a mirror
finish, and much more. This course provides general and technical information, as well
as some helpful teaching guidelines. Prior experience with Art Clay is helpful, but not
required.

Channel Wire Wrapping for Glass Cabochons and Stones
Learn another great alternative for displaying and wearing your fused-glass cabochons, especially
those see-through transparent ones!! This class is designed to cover a simpler, cleaner-lined wire
wrapping, to enhance your fused glass. We’ll cover the basics of wire wrapping within a c hannel on
your glass pieces, adding a bail made from wire, and different ways to embellish your pieces. To
save class time, you’ll need to bring a finished 1”x1.5” (approx.) cabochon from home, with a jewelry
channel already ground into the sides. It’s b est if you can fire-polish your piece after the grinding, or

art clay, chain making, or mosaics! Bring six students with you (for a total of 7), and you attend
class for free, or take $5.00 off everybody’s class fee!
