50 years of community service in
a SURPRISE luncheon held in her
honor, 11am to 2pm.
Friends and community leaders
who will travel from several states

have been heard, recognized and
respected.
Celebrities from across the nation will arrive on the Red Carpet

and to congratulate her for “staying on the wall” to also help uplift
and encourage politicians, clergy,
educators and all who made the

CREDO — Reporting the news
about diverse communities in a

positive events. The term “CRUSADER” connotes the “zeal and
enthusiasm” applied in keeping
the community informed, while
“making a difference” in the
media.

Peace is a state of mind. Don’t try
to change your life circumstances
to be at peace, learn how to react
to them in a different way. Don’t try
to go out of your world to find the
peace in a different place. What
you have been searching can always be found within yourself.
There is a place within you, which
remains always calm.
Listen to your inner voice asking
for peace. Go inside and connect
with the part of you that knows
what inner peace is. Rely on your
capability to remain calm without
being pushed by what is going on
around you. Be mindful, focus, and
tranquil in any situation. If you feel
that you are losing your peace of
mind, focus on what is important
for you: to achieve inner peace
and tranquility. End the flow of
angry, resentful, sad, anxious, or
distracting thoughts. Allow them to
disappear.
To have peace of mind you need
to be in the moment, to be present.
You will be always anxious if you
allow catastrophic thoughts about
the future to be in your mind. You
will feel guilty if continue thinking of
the events from the past that are
holding you back. To be at peace,
you need to accept what is happening in the present, to be aware
of your thoughts, beliefs, emotions
and feelings, now.
Not being judgmental is also a
way to achieve peace of mind.
Live your life. Don’t analyze it, just
experience it the way it unfolds.
Don’t judge every moment of it
as good or as bad. Don’t imagine
scenarios of what will happen if all
goes wrong. Don’t judge yourself
for what you think you did not do
right. If you don’t attribute meaning to your actions or the actions of
those around you, you will be able
to remain calm and in balance. You
are aware of what is happening,
you care, you feel, but you don’t try
to change the situation or judge it.
Travel frequently to the place
where you are at peace, where
you feel safe, where you can let
go of any worry or pressure you
are experiencing, and where you
can reconnect with yourself, with
who you truly are. Relax your body
and your mind and go to your inner temple, where you don’t allow
others to enter, where you are able
to disconnect from the world and
recharge your energy. When your
thoughts and feelings become
calm and nothing distracts you,
you will know that you have arrived
to the ocean of peace. You will
know that it is inside of you, it has
been always there, waiting for you.

Be The Match® Urges African Americans To Step Up: “We
Need You To Help Save Lives”
Judah Wilks was 11 months old
when he was adopted by a family in the United States and left the
Democratic Republic of the Congo
for the first time. After having limited access to medical care, Judah
finally went for his newborn wellness checkup where his new parents received devastating news:
Judah had sickle cell anemia, an
inherited blood disorder.
Judah suffered a stroke before
receiving an umbilical cord blood
transplant in October 2013. A few
months later, Judahs body rejected the transplant, leaving his parents heartbroken once again. Now
3 years old, Judah needs a bone
marrow transplant to save his life.

But first he must find a matching

A bone marrow or cord blood
transplant can be a cure for patients battling more than 70 diseases, including sickle cell anemia
and blood cancers like leukemia.
Patients are most likely to match
someone who shares their ancestry. But, like many African Americans in need of transplants, Judah
has yet to find a matching donor.
Thats why Be The Match®, the
worlds leading nonprofit organization focused on saving lives
through bone marrow and cord
blood transplantation, is raising
awareness about the critical need
for more African Americans to volunteer as potential bone marrow
donors this July, which is African
American Bone Marrow Awareness Month.
African American patients have
the lowest odds of finding a matching bone marrow donor compared
to all other populations. They
also have the most diverse tissue
types, which makes the matching
process even more challenging.
Throughout July, Be The Match
will host donor registry drives

instead the country sends drugs,
crime and rapists. Jones is national director of Nuestra Belleza

Jones has not said if Wendy Esparza, the 23-year-old journalist
set to represent Mexico later this
year, will be removed from the
competition, but she would seriously considering doing so if she
feels the beauty queen will be
denigrated during the competition.
“In the moment that I feel that
our representative’s integrity and
dignity is at risk, I will consider
Wendy’s participation in Miss Universe,” she wrote on Twitter.
Trump, who made several references to his wealth during his kick

“Nobody can build a fence like me.
I would build a wall like nobody can

Alex Rodriguez Caps 3,000-Career
Hit With Homer Against Detroit: ‘It’s a Magical Number’
Alex Rodriguez homered for his
3,000th career hit and smiled all
the way around the bases Friday
night, the highlight so far in what’s
become a resurgent season for
the disgraced slugger.
The New York Yankees star wasted no time, connecting in the first
inning on a first-pitch, 95 mph fastball from Detroit ace Justin Verlander.
Out of baseball last year while
serving a drug suspension, Rodriguez became the 29th player
in major league history to reach
3,000 hits. He was the first to do
it since Yankees great Derek Jeter
homered from the very same batter’s box in 2011.
“It’s a magical number,” Rodriguez
said after the final out of New
York’s 7-2 victory. “I’m very happy
to be in the club.”
With the crowd at Yankee Stadium
standing in anticipation, Rodriguez
sent a high drive to right field. He
held onto the bat as he took a few
steps toward first base, and outfielder J.D. Martinez bumped into
the wall as he backed up.
Fans roared as the ball sailed a
half-dozen rows into the seats.
Rodriguez pointed to the crowd a
couple of times and blew a kiss
to someone behind the backstop
after crossing the plate. He was
greeted by Mark Teixeira and other
teammates between the plate and
the dugout, and got a big hug from
manager Joe Girardi.
The only other players to hit a
homer for No. 3,000 were Jeter
and Wade Boggs.

Sofia Vergara: What’s So Wrong With
Playing Stereotypical Latina Women?
Maná Says Donald Trump’s Remarks About
Mexicans Were ‘Full of Hate’
Members of the Mexican rock
group Maná defended the dignity
of Mexican immigrants following
business tycoon Donald Trump’s
verbal attack against the community during the speech launching
his presidential campaign.
“There is a person named Donald Trump who made very violent
statements, full of hate against
Mexicans and Latin Americans –
called them rapists, criminals, drug
traffickers and said that they were
rubbish,” said Fher Olvera, lead
singer of the group, at a press conference preceding a concert at the
Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Sweet Alice will also receive flowers and gifts for her GIFTING

tears flow from hearing words of

his bandmates Juan Calleros, Sergio Vallín and Alex González, are

speech after the sound test on
Thursday in Los Angeles.
“It makes me sad because Mexicans have come to help build this

with so much hatred in his heart
has a microphone to say these
things,” Overa said about Trump’s
statements declaring himself a
candidate for the Republican nomination for president on Tuesday.

He added that such hatred was

and demonstrated “an excessive

“We are very angry with Trump,
because many Latinos are construction workers who have helped

working hard to build the United

The Colombian actress, who was
in Mexico promoting her recent release, “Hot Pursuit,” said she is not
afraid of portraying stereotypes –
specifically that of a Latina woman.
Vergara’s “Hot Pursuit” co-star,
Reese Witherspoon, could only
agree, saying change needs to

“What is so wrong about a Latina

we are women with a lot of passion, crazed by our families, by our

told the Mexican press in Spanish. “We get involved in things that

The 42-year-old Vergara said that

As for playing different types of
roles, Vergara said she is going to

horror films would be too draining.
“[Comedy] comes pretty naturally

It must be draining after an emotional day on set.”

The undersigned caused said Notice of Default and Election
to Sell to be recorded in the county where the real property is
located. NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS: If you are considering bidding on this property lien, you should understand
that there are risks involved in bidding at a trustee auction.
You will be bidding on a lien, not on the property itself. Placing the highest bid at a trustee auction does not automatically
entitle you to free and clear ownership of the property. You
should also be aware that the lien being auctioned off may be
a junior lien. If you are the highest bidder at the auction, you
are or may be responsible for paying off all liens senior to the
lien being auctioned off, before you can receive clear title to
the property. You are encouraged to investigate the existence,
priority, and size of outstanding liens that may exist on this
property by contacting the county recorder’s office or a title
insurance company, either of which may charge you a fee for
this information. If you consult either of these resources, you
should be aware that the same lender may hold more than
one mortgage or deed of trust on the property. NOTICE TO
PROPERTY OWNER: The sale date shown on this notice of
sale may be postponed one or more times by the mortgagee,
beneficiary, trustee, or a court, pursuant to Section 2924g of
the California Civil Code. The law requires that information
about trustee sale postponements be made available to you
and to the public, as a courtesy to those not present at the
sale. If you wish to learn whether your sale date has been
postponed, and, if applicable, the rescheduled time and date
for the sale of this property, you may call (844) 477-7869 or
visit this Internet Web site WWW.STOXPOSTING.COM, using
the file number assigned to this case 013533-CA. Information
about postponements that are very short in duration or that
occur close in time to the scheduled sale may not immediately
be reflected in the telephone information or on the Internet
Web site. The best way to verify postponement information
is to attend the scheduled sale. FOR SALES INFORMATION:
