Raise the Roof is actively recruiting volunteers to HOST an
activity area , booth, or fundraising activity
on the Guilford Green the day of the Build.
HOW CAN MY GROUP HELP?
1. Choose an Activity, Area, or Fundraiser from the list below to coordinate and staff for the day
2. Confirm with your RTR Liaison or email us at [email protected] that your group
will manage that activity for the day
3. Coordinate volunteers associated with your group for 4 shifts beginning at 9 and ending at 4 pm
4. Work with your RTR Liaison or email us at [email protected] to ensure all materials
needed for your activity/ booth will be available for you on build day!
5. Log onto www.raisetheroofct.org to register your fundraising page to collect sponsors and donations to support your friendraising on the day of the build

2015 Activity Host Opportunities
Youth Painting / Pounding Activity—Staff a booth where families can donate money and do a little
painting / pounding of nails into boards—fun for little ones who can’t participate in the actual build!
Bake Sale—Host a table selling baked goods or other items donated by your club with all proceeds going to the RTR Habitat Build
Bob the Builder –Spend a day with volunteers taking turns as Bob the Builder. Your club could raise
funds by taking photos with little fans!
Flower Seeds Planting—Coordinate a booth where little hands can plant seeds to take home in tiny
pots for a donation to RTR.
Face Painting- Raise funds for RTR by painting faces for a donation
Houseparts Games— Been dying to throw a water balloon at someone in your group? This
could be the booth to coordinate for the day to raise funds for RTR!
