Dear Applicant,
We hope this letter finds you enjoying the school year. We are eagerly anticipating summer
2015, the eighth year of Camp Achdus. We are planning many new, innovative programs so that this
summer can surpass anything Camp Achdus has ever experienced.
Camp Achdus has two major divisions. Camp Achdus, for girls entering grades one through five,
and Camp Achdus Advanced, for girls entering sixth grade.
Camp Achdus, a place where enthusiasm reigns, lives up to its motto “Come Catch the Energy.”
There is a constant atmosphere of excitement as smiling faces dance from one activity to the next. Camp
Achdus counselors, special activity leaders, and lifeguards are all carefully chosen to ensure that your
daughter is in the safest and most loving environment.
The activities in Camp Achdus revolve around the summers’ organized theme. Each month
concludes with a production presented by the campers. It is the constant cheering, spunk and unity that
makes Camp Achdus unique.
Camp Achdus girls enjoy a summer comprised of fabulous trips, off campus baking activities, a
swimming program in an in-ground pool complete with swimming instruction, and regular gymnastics
classes. This year Camp Achdus is proud to announce exciting jewelry making classes, and weekly
professional painting and art classes with Mrs. Sherri Kaye!
Camp Achdus Advanced, introduced three summers ago, has proven to be a major success.
Camp Achdus Advanced girls serve as the “big sisters” in the Camp Achdus family, as they lead the
atmosphere of excitement, while participating in a schedule filled with sophisticated activities. Aside
from gymnastics classes, off campus swimming with instruction, and the other exciting Camp Achdus
activities, Camp Achdus Advanced enjoys weekly trips and chocolate making classes! Camp Achdus
Advanced girls are also privileged to regular late nights!
New for this year, Camp Achdus is introducing “Pizza Thursdays!” This is an optional program,
where you can pay a minimal fee of $9 per month for your child to receive pizza for lunch every
Thursday! Please check off the box on the enclosed form if you are interested.

Camp Achdus is offering busing at the minimal cost of $50 a month. Busing can also be arranged from
other neighborhoods in Queens.
In order to reserve a spot, please send in a $100 non-refundable deposit with the attached form.
Deposit amount is the same regardless if the child will be attending for one month or the full summer.
The deposit amount is included in the tuition price.
NO SPOT will be reserved unless the form and deposit are received.
