JUST A GOOD OLD-FASHIONED SURF CONTEST AND LUAU THAT WILL
HELP REDEFINE THE WAY WE TREAT AND DIAGNOSE CANCER.
The day begins at the beach below Scripps Pier with the
Legends of Surfing Invitational tournament, emphasizing
participation and support for the cause rather than
individual surfing ability. Each sponsored team, including
an assigned surfing legend, vies for traditional trophies.
The Luau starts after the tournament with more than
500 attendees enjoying live music and a tropical buffet.
Guests may participate in opportunity drawings; a silent
auction; or test their bidding skills against one another as
one-of-a-kind pieces of surf-inspired artwork, exceptional
surfboards and vacation packages are put up for live
auction — always a crowd favorite!
