Vision
At the heart of
The Chevron Way
is our Vision ...
to be the global
energy company
most admired for its
people, partnership
and performance.
Our Vision means we:
yy Safely provide energy products vital to sustainable economic
progress and human development throughout the world.
yy Are people and an organization with superior capabilities
and commitment.
yy Are the partner of choice.
yy Earn the admiration of all our stakeholders — investors,
customers, host governments, local communities and our
employees — not only for the goals we achieve but how we
achieve them.
Chevron is one of the world’s leading integrated energy
companies, with subsidiaries that conduct business around the
globe. Our success is driven by the ingenuity and commitment
of approximately 62,000 employees who operate across
the energy spectrum. We explore for, produce and transport
crude oil and natural gas; refine, market and distribute
transportation fuels and other energy products; manufacture
and sell petrochemical products; generate power and produce
geothermal energy; and provide energy-efficiency solutions and
develop and commercialize the energy resources of the future,
including biofuels and other renewables.
yy Deliver world-class performance.
The Finance MBA Development Program has been the primary
source of senior finance management since the program was
inaugurated in 1946. In addition, the Finance MBA community is
exactly that — a community. Year after year, class after class, the
connections between our program people are maintained. We pay
a great deal of attention to career progression and development
for the company at large, and that is particularly true for this
group of finance professionals whose careers are actively
monitored and managed for best and highest contributions.

Your Continued Growth
At Chevron, we believe performance
feedback is essential to career
development. It helps you take an
active role in maximizing contributions
and managing your career. While
on the Finance MBA Development
Program, you will meet regularly with
the rotational assignment manager
to ensure you receive timely and
constructive performance information.
After the Program
The program’s end is just the beginning
of your career at Chevron. After
completing the program, you will have
the type of knowledge and skills that
are in high demand throughout the

Program Alumni – CEOs, CFOs and VPs
As a member of the program, you’ll join an impressive list of former program
members who have held the following positions: chairman and vice chairman of
the board, chief financial officer, comptroller, treasurer and operating company
finance vice presidents. We’re serious about creating future leaders.
Summer Internship Program
Get a preview of what it’s like to work at Chevron by joining as a summer
intern after your first year of graduate school. As an intern, you’ll gain a better
understanding of our business and learn more about our people and our culture.
Structure
Internship assignments are typically project-based. They are challenging and
rewarding — just like those on the full-time program. You might be assigned to
work in our corporate treasury or comptroller’s groups or in one of Chevron’s
major San Francisco Bay Area operating companies.
What to Expect
Throughout the summer, you’ll have opportunities to interact with senior
management, current program members and program alumni. You will tour
our facilities, attend presentations about the company and socialize with other
Chevron professionals. Interns are often hired later into our full-time program.
The program provides invaluable opportunities to create a
network with peers, managers and senior-level executives.
Most surprising to me has been the genuine interest and support
of senior leaders in my career development and personal
aspirations.
