CINCINNATI REDS BASEBALL CAMPS…THE

CINCINNATI REDS BASEBALL CAMPS…THE CONCEPT
Reds Country is rich with kids, parents and coaches who love baseball, softball and
their Cincinnati Reds. The Reds represent an enormous resource for baseball
knowledge. There now exists a conduit through which this extraordinary baseball
acumen can flow between the local MLB team and its baseball and softball-hungry fan base.
In 2012 the Reds launched a summer camp program that consists of community-based camps
throughout the Reds marketing area. Any boy or girl who has ever picked up a bat, a ball and dared to dream
the dream will find these week-long camps about as close to Reds baseball heaven as they can get without
actually being Jay Bruce or Joey Votto.
Our promise is to create a world class Reds Baseball Experience that will forever own a page in the
memory scrapbook of every boy and girl who joins us. And a camp that is uncompromising in its mandate to
teach these great games correctly.
TEAM LEADER POSITIONS
The camps are only as good as the people who stand in front of the kids every day and teach. First,
you must have an extraordinary aptitude for teaching. Second, you understand the best teaching is done in an
environment of encouragement and positive reinforcement. Third, you must be enthusiastic, extremely
reliable, exhibit solid character and integrity in all you do while representing yourself and the Cincinnati Reds.
Every day is an opportunity to create a baseball or softball masterpiece for the kids who have asked for
our help. As difficult as it can be at times, there can be no compromise in your energetic performance toward
each of them.
