FCA Leadership Camp

We are so excited to see you at the Wilmington, NC FCA Leadership Camp this summer. This letter is to let you know you
are officially enrolled for FCA Leadership Camp at UNC-Wilmington in Wilmington, NC on July 6 – 10, 2015. FCA
Camp will be an unforgettable week full of resources, training, spiritual growth and fun.
On this sheet (front and back), you will find the answers to many questions you may have concerning Camp, so please
take some time and read through all of the information. We hope this will answer most of your questions, but if not, feel

The Leadership Camp
Whether you’re a new Student Leader, Huddle Coach or
an old hand, you’ll be full of confidence and inspiration
after attending this Camp. Learn what it means to be a
leader and how to use your leadership to impact and
influence your campus for Jesus Christ. This camp is
intended for current or potential adult and student FCA
leaders.

influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving
Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their
relationships and in the fellowship of the church."
Checking In
Upon arrival at UNC-Wilmington, on Monday, July 6th,
come to Cornerstone Hall to complete registration.
Camp registration is between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The program officially begins with the Opening
Team Meeting at 3:00 p.m.
The following items listed below are needed to
complete your registration at check-in:



Funds for Remaining Balance
Student Permission Waiver Form (On-line or
Enclosed)
Copy of Insurance Card
It is required for a “Student Participant Form” be
completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian in
order to participate in activities at camp. Students will
not be allowed to participate in camp without it.
If you enrolled online, you would have already
completed this form. However, if you enrolled by
mail or telephone, you will need to complete the
enclosed “Student Participate Form”, have it signed
by a parent or legal guardian and bring with you to
registration check-in.
Early Arrival
Camp housing will not be available until after 12 p.m.,
Monday, July 6th. The first Camp meal is Monday
evening at 6:15 p.m. Any housing or meals prior to
Monday’s dinner will have to be arranged and paid
for by the camper. Please eat lunch before arriving
on campus for check-in.
Fees
All unpaid fees are due before check-in at Camp.
Cancellations can be made as late as the time of on-site
check-in by calling the Camp Registrar at 800-ANYCAMP. All fees, EXCEPT A $100 SERVICE FEE, will be
refunded in August if you cancel your enrollment before
on-site Camp registration ends.
Substitutions can be made as late as the time of on-site
check-in.
After Camp begins, $300 is non-refundable, if you do
not attend Camp.

As a 2015 CAMP ENROLLEE, you will receive a camp
tee-shirt, lanyard and FCA God’s Game Plan Bible. Each
campus represented will receive a campus ministry
Playbook.
Directions
From the north: Follow I-95 South. Take Exit 40 East.
I-40 becomes NC 132/College Road once I-40 ends.
Continue driving south for approx. 3 miles. Turn left
onto Randall Drive at light. You are now on UNCW
campus. Take right onto Reynolds Dr. Take left onto
Cahill Drive. Take left onto Walton Drive. Turn right
into Parking Lot II.
What to Wear and Bring
Modest athletic attire (no “Soffe” shorts with writing) is
required during Camp. Keep your clothing and any
equipment simple. Bring tennis shoes and clothing that
you will need for competitions.
You will need to bring a sleeping bag or sheets & a
blanket for a single mattress, pillow, pillowcase, bug
spray, towels, washcloth and soap.
Don’t forget your alarm clock.
You may want to bring your own water bottle, small
backpack, sun block and a fan for your room. A
notebook and pen or pencil will be needed for the Team
Meetings.

Insurance
FCA will only provide secondary insurance coverage for
the camper during the stay at Camp. In case of injury or
illness, campers will need to provide proof of insurance
coverage at the time of treatment. A photocopy of your
insurance card will be sufficient. Campers not covered
by family insurance will be cared for.
