You are invited to attend the Virginia Fairs 2015 Spring Judging School!
The Caroline County Agricultural Fair Association, in conjunction with the Virginia Cooperative
Extension and the Virginia Association of Fairs, is pleased to present the Spring 2015 Judging School!
The purpose of this judging school is to train and certify judges for Fairs throughout the
Commonwealth of Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical knowledge of fair
judging and a greater understanding of county fairs and the educational opportunities they present.




Classes offered in this Spring class include:
Baked Goods I & II
 Photography
Clothing
 Quilts
Dried Foods
 Scrapbooking
Needle Crafts
 Vegetables/Produce
Participants should have some knowledge of the subject area for which they register, and are
encouraged to bring samples to be discussed in the class.
Tentative Schedule:
8:00 – 8:45 a.m.
Registration and light refreshments
8:45 – 9:20 a.m.
Welcome/Orientation/Ethics Class
9:20 – 10:20 a.m.
Session I
10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Session II
11:35 – 12:30 p.m.
Light Lunch
12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Session III
1:35 – 2:00 p.m.
Closing/Remarks/Evaluation
