Many of us think our stories aren’t that interesting. Yet, well-told, even the simplest of scenes from life are captivating. Most people protest that they aren’t good writers and are fearful of trying. Yet, writing, like any art, improves with instruction and practice. This summer we’ll work on writing your life history. We’ll begin with techniques to mine your memory for interesting detail, as well as important events, using old letters, music, photos and archival research. Then, we’ll practice strategies for vivid scenes, dramatic narrative and compelling characters. Game Days At Covenant Place CO-SPONSORED WITH COVENANT PLACE with DR.
