PROGRAMME:
Day 1 (Cirque du Soleil Show “Allavita!”): Individual arrival in Milan and check-in at Hotel Mediterraneo 4**** (or
similar in Milan surroundings) in Villa Cortese, near Legnano, 17 km far from the fair area Rho-Pero and 32 km far
from Milan city centre.
The hotel will greet you with a welcome drink.
Evening: free time (Esatour Opera & Music Travels would be pleased to suggest and reserve dinners a/o appetizers
in selected restaurants a/o bars)
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 (EXPO): breakfast at the hotel.
Individual transfer to EXPO and visit of the exhibition on your own (entrance ticket for 1 day included).
Expo opening time: 10.00 a.m-11.00 p.m.
In the evening: “Allavita!” show by Cirque du Soleil in the Open Air Theatre at Expo
Return individual transfer from EXPO to the hotel.
Day 3 (Leonardo Da Vinci’s exhibition): breakfast at the hotel.
Visit of Leonardo Da Vinci’s exhibition for Expo (Leonardo Da Vinci 1452-1519) at Palazzo Reale on your own
(entrance ticket included).

EXPO 2015 “FEEDING THE PLANET, ENERGY FOR LIFE”
Expo Milano 2015 is a non-commercial Universal Exposition with some very unique and innovative features. Not only is it an exhibition
but also a process, one of active participation among a large number of players around the theme of Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. It
is sustainable, technological, thematic and focused on its visitors. Open from May 1 to October 31, 2015, the Expo will host over 130
participants. Running for 184 days, this giant exhibition site, covering one million square meters, is expected to welcome over 20 million
visitors.
Visitors will experience a unique journey that looks at the complex theme of nutrition. They will have the possibility to take a trip around
the world, sampling the food and traditions of people from all over the globe. Expo Milano 2015 will be the first Exposition in history to be
remembered not only for its products but also for its contribution towards education on food and the planet’s precious resources.
“ALLAVITA!” SHOW BY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL
“ALLAVITA!”: this is the evocative title of the new exclusive production that will be presented during the Expo and will see the
participation of more than 50 Italian and international artists. It will be a performance created specifically for the Universal Exposition of
Milan 2015, which will be the stage one of the shows on the bill from May 6 to August 23, 2015, in the atmospheric setting of the Open Air
Theatre. “Allavita!” makes us discover the winds with which we set sail, and the roots that permeate an international community. It is an
invitation to nourish our lives with pleasure, enthusiasm and passion.

LEONARDO DA VINCI’S EXHIBITION
Milan will celebrate the genius of Leonardo with an exhibition from April 15th to July 19th 2015 during Expo. Leonardo 1452-1519 will be
the largest exhibition dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci ever organized in Italy. It will take place in Palazzo Reale and will present nonmythographic view of Leonardo, neither rhetorical nor celebratory, but one crossing some main themes. An itinerary as multifaceted and
polyhedric as its protagonist, exactly on the anniversary of the master’s birth, who were born on April 15th 1452.
The exhibition will be divided into 12 sections: Drawing as foundation; Nature and science of Painting; The Comparison of Arts; The
Comparison with Ancient Traditions; Anatomy, physiognomy and emotions; Invention and Mechanics; The Dream; Reality and Utopia; The
Unity of knowledge; De coelo et mundo: images of the divine; The diffusion and the success: from the leonardeschi to the Treatise on
Painting; The Myth.
