Featured Project Childcare Learning Centers (CLC) is an organization that has been serving families in the Fairfield County community since 1902. The Center provides innovative, high-quality and affordable early childhood education programs for children and comprehensive family support services, including parenting education. It is recognized as the third largest pre-K program in Connecticut and the second largest in Fairfield County. CLC hired Catalyst to help publicize the organization’s newly hired CEO. This provided the opportunity to not only promote the CEO’s diverse experience and goals for the organization, but also to reinforce the strength of the organization and its many accomplishments. Catalyst stepped in and helped review all announcement preparations and materials. Specifically, the public relations plan included the development and distribution of a press release, creation of talking points and a CLC fact sheet, as well as an aggressive media relations effort to secure placements and interviews with the new CEO. Overall, CLC was extremely pleased with the coverage.
