Welcome to THE BIG EVENT: FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY!
Central Bucks Family YMCA is thrilled and excited to host FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY, a celebration of
our community, for our community. We’ve invited all the best food trucks in the area to
celebrate with us and along with two great bands (School of Rock and River of Dreams Billy Joel
Tribute Band) and Doylestown Brewery, it promises to be the community event of the season,
not to be missed.
In striving to communicate clearly with everyone who plans to attend, we’re publishing this
frequently asked questions list for you to review before heading over to FTF.
Date, time, location?
May 15, 2015, 5:15pm – 10:00pm

Where can I park?
We’ve secured parking permission from three of our wonderful community neighbors
1. Central Bucks West High School, Memorial & Court Streets, Doylestown
2. Doylestown Health (formerly Doylestown Hospital), 595 W. State St, Doylestown
3. First Baptist Church, 311 W. State St, Doylestown
4. Parking on Doylestown Borough streets is free after 5:00pm on Friday.
How much does it cost? Do I need to bring money?
The event is free to attend. There’s no cover for the bands or to get onto the property. You
should plan to bring payment if you plan to purchase food, beer and beverages from the food
trucks. Please be aware, not all food trucks accept credit cards so please plan to bring cash. We
also plan to sell 50/50 tickets, with proceeds benefiting our annual campaign.
Will there be an ATM?
UPDATED: YES! A local company will provide an ATM that will be available at the Y during the
event. There are also several within walking distance of the Y.
Do I need to sign in?
Yes, we are asking an adult from each family to sign in at our check-in tables at our entrance.
Will the skatepark be open?
Yes, the skatepark will be open. Skatepark users must be members with a current waiver on file
or pay the Skatepark guest fee ($7/youth and $12 for adult) and sign a Skatepark waiver. Bring
your own skateboard and helmet.
Can we bring our dog(s)?
Due to the number of attendees expected, we do ask that those in attendance leave their pets at
home. Obviously, clearly discernable service pets would be the exception to this rule.

Will there be beer?
Yes, Doylestown Brewery will be on hand to serve micro—brews and beer by the cup. As per
Pennsylvania state law, patrons wishing to drink alcohol must be age 21 and must check-in at a
special carding table to be braceleted. Please plan to bring your valid driver’s license. Beer sales
will be limited to 3/adult.
What food trucks will be in attendance?
Surf and Turf Truck, The Cow and the Curd, Uncle Paul's Stuffed Pretzels, Oink and Moo BBQ,
Pizza Wagon, Bonjour Creperie, The Tot Cart, Sweet Pea Ice Cream and Monty's Sandwich Shop.
Are vegetarian or vegan options available?
A few of the trucks have let us know that they will have these options available including Surf
and Turf who serves tofu rolls and Bonjour Creperie who serves vegetarian, vegan and
gluten/dairy free options.
Is there stuff for the kids to do?
You are welcome to bring lawn games like balls and Frisbees to play as a family. The Y also has
a fenced playground area for kids. The skatepark will be open. Other for-fee activities, like a
professional face-painter will be on hand. Families are welcome and encouraged to dance to the
bands too!
Is smoking allowed?
There is no smoking allowed on the grounds of the Y.
Can I utilize the Y while my family is at the event?
The Y will technically be closed to members and guests and all programming cancelled. We do
welcome you to return on another day and ask for a tour of our facility.
Where are the bathrooms?
Bathrooms are located in the main Y facility, through the lobby.
What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event! There is no rain date.
What should I bring?
 Chairs, blankets, tents, tables – whatever you need to be comfortable (please no Coleman
grills or fire pits)
 Driver’s license (for alcohol bracelet)
 Cash
 Rain gear, if it’s raining
 Your friends, family and neighbors!
