“
In Japan, "Mission" or "Missionary" is
special word in Church. But I heard that so many
ordinary Christian are taking part in CCMN STM
therefore I want to be a part of it. After the STM , I
understand that "Mission is lifestyle" and I am a
disciple of Jesus.
STM Fee
The STM fee stated in the brochure includes all the expenses for training camp, a return ticket
from Hong Kong to the mission field, airport taxes, transportation and accommodation at the field,
administration fee. Price of flight ticket may fluctuate due to the changing airport taxes and fuel
surcharge, causing changes in STM fee.
One year later, I joined STM organized by
JCMN (Japan)and went to Southern Thailand
again! This time I was the team leader and went
with 6 different Japanese church members! I
treasure the experience in CCMN STM and I hope
to keep mobilizing mission in Japan.

“ CCMN STM is the best for me, I learnt so
many things like mission and teamwork and
communication skills. I go with my son, my
relationship with my son is better and closer
through the STM trip.
”
always try their best to do things, do
things together and do things
creatively & joyfully. They treasure
teamwork and together. They gather
together intentionally so that they can
work as one body. Though I was a
foreigner, I could always feel that I
belongs to the team.
”
Elim Hsu from Taiwan (2013)
“
I saw and experienced the spirit of "One
body one church" in this six-week period in
Smart Team. I knew more CCMN's sending
conviction especially how CCMN carries out
church-based mission. These experiences tell me
that everyone plays a vital role in the missions
movement, influencing me to join the Smart
Team in Taipei after I went back to Taiwan as my
active response to the movement.
I really hope more Taiwan churches will get
involved in the Great Commission.
”
Lydia Suen from Hong Kong,
studying in England (2014)
“
My view to missions is definitely widened by
my voluntary experience in Smart Team . In the
past, people always talk about how missions
should be involved in daily life but I never
experienced it vividly until I joined Smart Team.
My vision given by God has been made so much
more clearly through what I got this summer,
making missions movement is much more
personal and tight. In long term, I'd like to inspire
people in my church to get involved into the
movement. If God allows, I will even go on a long
term mission with honour. Teamwork, obedience
and humbleness are the three most important
qualities that I've learned so much from Smart
Team. As the words suggests, teamwork only
'works' when we are humble and obedient to
each other and to God! My favorite Smart Team
spirit is 'No Big Shots' - because this always
reminds me that Jesus is real and
the only team leader.
”
Beautiful from Macau (2014)
This summer in Smart Team I acknowl“
edged that everybody can get involved in
responding to missions: doesn't matter if it is a
donation or caring for missionaries or their
parents, you are playing a part in this mission
movement.
This year's involvement prepared me a lot
for my vision of missions in the future as I
learned to sacrifice. Give up for God but never
give up God himself as I witnessed God's
people sacrificing their lives for this missions
movement. It's especially unforgettable to
know every individual in Smart Team and hear
about their stories. When you get involved, you
will understand the motto of "being persistent;
staying joyful; never give up and spread the
vision out". Being able to work, get crazy and
give up our lives together is absolutely
incredible.
Having returned to Macau, I'd still
continue to live out missions: prepare myself
and my fellow young disciples to dream for
Macau! Go! Go! Go!
”
Therefore, in order for the mission movement to
succeed, everyone must move. Will you join? Take it
in action instead of hiding yourself! Join the CCMN
Smart Team Summer Volunteer Program!
