Baltimore Buddy Walk Update We're still riding the high from the success of the first annual Baltimore Buddy Walk and 5K Run. Let's take that continued momentum and look forward to the second annual Baltimore Buddy Walk this Fall. Planning is in the very beginning stages. To avoid conflicts with a Ravens game, our planning committee is waiting for the Ravens schedule to come out in April before finalizing a date. Venues to accommodate the great numbers of walkers and supports are also being researched. We are also starting to make strides toward obtaining major sponsors - we will need all your help. Please let us know if you have sponsorship suggestions. Additionally, there is Buddy Walk® Conference for Buddy Walk Organizers April 13-14 in Washington, DC. Anyone who wishes to attend the conference from the Baltimore Buddy Walk Committee can have their conference registration fee underwritten by CDSPG. The Buddy Walk® Conference will be held at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel located at 2800 S Potomac Ave Arlington, VA 22202. E-mail Courtney Dunevant if you are interested in attending. If you have questions or want to be a part of the planning, e-mail the committee chair Katie Hudson or send a request to join the Buddy Walk Facebook Page.
