Summer Sew-cation
Quilters’ Sew-cation! Starts Friday August 22nd at 5:00PM and doesn’t end until Sunday August 24th at
5:00PM Cost: $75 Don’t miss out on this long weekend of sewing. Stay at any of the local hotels in Sturbridge or drive in from home each day. It’s a Sewing Vacation!

Choose Scrap Box Chevrons or Scrap Box Squares. The techniques is the same but
with a few differences these are going to be your new favorite scrap quilts.

The Beatle Bag
This neat little bag is one my market finds. The patterns is simple and it comes
with the vinyl zip-close inserts. Using my new favorite product, a soft foam added to bags and other projects to give them support and shape, this bag works up
quickly.

Scrap Crazy Quilts using Creative Grids Template Set4
Cut five pieces from three templates to create a Scrap Crazy block that finishes to 8in. All of
the pieces can be cut from scraps, 6in strips or 10in pre-cuts. Many layouts to create your own look.

It’s Game Night
This is our first Game Night here at SCSQ. To join the fun just bring 20—2 1/2”
fabric squares—no duplicates! Roll the game dice to trade and steal squares from your
opponents. These Trader’s Dice are great for any group activity and they’re made in
America.
She with the most fabric wins!
But everyone is a winner and gets a free pattern for participating.

Twirl-a-Tool NEW from Wendt Quilting
Debbie has out done herself with this one! Use the Brilliant Binding s Tool as the
cutting template for this quilt and the blocks go together easily. Learn how to create
the faux piping binding. Bonus instructions included in the pattern.

Sew strip sets, cut into blocks and slice your way to create a unique look. It’s like making your own fabric. A manageable project as a table runner. Add a few placements

Is the Bargello technique on your quilter’s bucket list? It’s on mine and
with this project it’s doable. Adding raw edge fusible applique makes it

Starting September 2014 JNQ Workshops on the 3rd Saturday of the month our first workshop begins with your choice of Fire Island Hosta quilt. These quilts are breathtaking like
all of JNQ patterns. Cost of class is $40 per session (for each of the 6 monthly classes)
plus the cost of the pattern. For JNQ workshop students a 10% discount is offered on project fabrics purchased from SQSC.
