As most of you have noticed, we have outgrown our current home. Our new location will have two studios, including one that is much larger, with high ceilings for the big jumps and lifts our older dancers do. There will be two dressing rooms and other features that will make it a much more comfortable home for dancers, parents and staff. This new location is just right down the street at 109 N. Tower. Please note that we will not be moving until this summer, though you will see a "for rent" sign posted. If your child will need new dancewear for the recital, please let us know by May 16. All Explore Dance and ballet students will need dress code leotards, tights and shoes. Ladies performing en pointe, make sure you will have a pair of pointe shoes in good condition! Musical Theater and jazz students will need black jazz shoes. We will need people to help with preparing the new space as well as donations of furnishings for our new waiting areas and offices. More info to come. Don Quixote - Ballet Northwest will present this classic ballet at Washington Center for the Performing Arts, Friday, May 8-10. CBA students Elina Brein, Jacob Brein, Erin Brown and Stephanie San Souci will all be performing. Tickets available through www.olytix.org or at the door. Recital Information Recital information packets will be sent home within the next couple of weeks. Call time will vary depending on age (5:30-6:30). Please watch for the recital packet and make sure you receive and review it. It contains information critical to making the recital run smoothly. Also, please watch for information on signing up for volunteering to help with recital. We depend on volunteers to keep costs down while keeping everything running smoothly. Attendance Just a friendly reminder to try to get yourself and/or your child to class regularly.
