Safety
Preliminary research suggests that there may be health risks associated with increased
exposure to wireless technology.
Here are some Tips to Reduce Your Exposure to Wireless Radiation from
Joel M. Moskowitz, Ph.D
Director, Center for Family and Community Health, University of California, Berkeley
1) Avoid holding cellphones near your head or body, especially reproductive organs. Use
speakerphone, text or wired headset with a small iron bead on the cord to prevent
antenna-like reception.
2) Turn off mobile devices, blue tooth & modems when not in use, especially overnight.
3) Reduce children’s and expectant mothers’ exposure to
wireless radiation and limit their use of wi-fi devices.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS FOR STUDENTS & PARENTS to help as we grow:
 Remember to sign in AND out upon entry and exit.
 Please maintain your “quiet, inside voices” when inside the Conservatory in respect to
students in lessons.
 Parents please remain onsite, maintain close supervision of your children in the waiting
area at all times, and care for and clean up the area before leaving. For safety, children
may NOT be left unsupervised in the sunroom area, porch or playground, nor allowed to run
up and down stairwell. Also, please care for furniture and table top activities/games so all
conservatory students may enjoy them.
 Good student attendance & consistent practice is a mastery standard and condition of
enrollment. Practice Party invitations will be going out soon!!!!
 Music Share payments are appreciated the first lesson of each month.
 Those who have committed to volunteer hours are encouraged to see the Director for
opportunities.
Thanks to all who brought thoughtful gifts & goodies for our Hawthorne Instructors
during Teacher Appreciation Week!
