Mette STUHR

In 2008 Mette left a long corporate career and founded her own consultancy and executive coaching
company. She works primarily with international organisations and she is involved in a range of
different interventions with organisations, groups and individuals. Her work has spanned across
numerous industries around the world. She works with individual transitions and change related
themes and has extensive experience with designing and running global leadership programmes for
senior executives and high potentials. Mette’s main focus is leadership development and group
dynamics.
Mette’s approach to leadership development and consulting draws on many schools of thoughts, but
in particular systems and psychodynamics. She draws on different methodologies in her
interventions, however most interventions are reflective and experientially based - on the evidence
that adults learn and integrate best through experience.
Alongside her corporate career Mette has been actively involved in Executive Leadership
programmes and MBA programmes at a number of top European business schools as group
consultant and executive coach. For years she was adjunct faculty at Copenhagen Business School.
During her 17 years corporate career, Mette worked in primarily global organisations. She has
experience with a number of different roles and responsibilities – both in corporate HR Development
functions as well as in senior executive positions in business divisions.
Mette holds a MA in International Business, a MA in Strategic Human Resource Management and is
certified in Organisational Psychology. Throughout her career she has attended various training
programmes and workshops and she is certified in a range of disciplines and tools relating to
development and change in individuals, groups and organisations. She is a member of the
International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA) and the Danish Society of Group Analysis.
Mette was born and raised in Denmark and has lived abroad at various times. She lives in
Copenhagen with her husband and two children.
