Our values act as a point of reference for our decision-making. They provide direction as to the type of organisation we aspire to be and the kind of behaviours we regard as appropriate. Our values underpin all that we do. Our values are demonstrated through our everyday actions, giving our mission and vision life. The Values in Practice (VIP) Employee Recognition Program provides an opportunity for our staff and volunteers to build a positive and healthy culture. It’s who we are and what we do that makes St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne such a great hospital. It is essential that every day we notice each other’s positive actions. This strengthens us and our workplace. The VIP Program invites you to nominate someone whom you believe has exceeded expectations and deserves to be recognised. The nomination form identifies the core Values in Practice – compassion, justice, integrity and excellence demonstrated by the staff member or volunteer. Nomination Details 1. For your nomination to be valid – please ensure you include your payroll number. 2. Complete, scan and email your completed form to: [email protected] OR place the completed form in the VIP box located in the Executive Offices of each Hospital. All nomination forms will be collected by the first Friday of each month. 3. All nominations will be reviewed by the Senior Leadership Team at their monthly meeting. 4. Each month, the VIP will be rewarded with a Coles/Myer voucher. 5. Names of all nominees and monthly VIPs will be published in CareNews/Glimpse. 6.
