Bike Month 2015 Bike to Work Day kicks off a month

Bike Month 2015
Bike to Work Day kicks off a month long celebration of cycling!
On Monday, May 25, join thousands of other cyclists from across the city for the 26th annual Bike
to Work Day.
Rides begin at various locations across the city. The main ride from Yonge & Charles begins at
7:30 a.m. From there, the group rides together to City Hall to enjoy a complimentary pancake
breakfast provided by St. Lawrence Market, before heading to work. For more information about
Bike to Work Day and Bike Month visit BikeMonth.ca/Toronto and click on Event Calendar.
Live Green Toronto and Smart Commute Toronto-Central are proud sponsors of this year’s Bike
Month campaign. Smart Commute is a program of the City of Toronto and Metrolinx, offering
programs and services for sustainable workplace commuting.
Cycling is also a great alternative mode of transport to consider during, and beyond, the Pan Am
and Parapan Am Games this summer. The Games will place significant additional demands on
Toronto's transportation systems and the City of Toronto is asking Toronto businesses and
residents to plan ahead and to take steps to reduce congestion during the Games. Please check
out this webpage for more information about planning your routes during the summer:

Cycle and celebrate Bike Month May 25 – June 25, 2015. Happy cycling!
