Course description
This is what students will see IF they read the course handbook
This course is for students who want to use English to learn about legal,
political, business and other issues.
本科目は、法律、政治、ビジネスなどについて、英語を使って学びたい学生を
対象とします。
This is an intermediate course in English for Business with a self-study
TOEIC part. This course will help you improve your confidence for
communicating in English and build your English business vocabulary.
The course will help you improve your presentation skills, and you will
have many chances to explain and discuss business issues in English in
pairs and small groups. It will also help you develop your TOEIC selfstudy skills. All students in this course will be required to submit a copy of
their March or April 2015 TOEIC score sheet to the teacher at the start of
the course.
初級ビジネス英語入門。TOEIC 受験のための自習の指導も行う。この授業で
は、英語でコミュニケーションを行なうことにさらに自信を持てるようにすること
を目指し、ビジネスのための英語の語彙を増やすこともできる。プレゼンテーシ
ョンのスキルをさらに伸ばし、さまざまなビジネスの問題をペアあるいは少人数
のグループで論じる機会を多く設定する。また、TOEIC 受験にむけての自宅
学習の方法についても指導を行なう。本授業の学生は、2015 年の 3 月か 4
月に実施の T0EIC を受験し、その得点の写しを学期の開始時に担当教員に
提出することが必須となります。
(1) Attendance of 80% or more, (2) active participation in class activities
and (3) weekly preparation of 1-2 hours outside class (including selfstudy for TOEIC) are required to pass this course.
この授業の単位を得るためには(1) 80%以上出席し、(2) 授業に積極的に参加
し、(3) 毎週 1-2 時間の準備(TOEIC の勉強を含む)をすることが必要。
