CMI’s Philosophy
& Directors
The Chamber Music Institute teaches through small
group environments in which students learn from
rehearsing with their peers. CMI allows students to
improve as instructors guide them along the process of
preparing for a group performance. CMI’s directors
combine decades of youth music camp experience with
educations from the world’s best conservatories. They
are assisted by talented instructors that specialize in a
range of musical disciplines including pianist Maxim
Pakhamov, composer-pianist John Alan Rose, violinistviolist Moni Simeonov, and cellist Andrew Borkowski.
