She has performed at Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, and Carnegie Hall, and has toured throughout Europe, the US and Japan. Her Nutmeg Chamber Players perform regularly in the New York area. Her students have gone on to study at Juilliard Pre-College and conservatories around the US and Japan, and many now have leadership roles in orchestras and chamber groups. Prior to founding CMI, Ms. Silver was Dean of Students for over ten years at the Waterville Valley Music Center summer chamber music program, and Director of the Joy Music Seminar in Kyoto, Japan. He studied at Juillard where he received his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees. He studied chamber music with the Juilliard String Quartet, and has toured in Russia, North America, South America and throughout Europe. Dr. Wieck is a renowned conductor, violist, and violinist with vast experience in high-level music education. Now in its sixth year, CMI focuses on teaching chamber music. Students will take on a variety of roles within chamber groups, and grow their abilities as musicians. Students will also have the opportunity to perform in a Solo Showcase.
