Welcome to Chamber Music Pittsburgh’s 55th concert season where the world’s most celebrated artists, rising stars, and music lovers like you gather to share music that is intimate, captivating, and unforgettable. Our five-concert Subscription Series commences this fall at its home in Pittsburgh’s renowned Carnegie Music Hall, which boasts some of the finest acoustics in the nation – absolutely perfect for chamber music! In the meantime, Chamber Music Pittsburgh’s third season of Just Summer is right around the corner. In June, the series will return to the fabulous stage of the Kelly Strayhorn Theater in historic East Liberty. This casual, genre-bending series is sure to delight with fabulous music-making, delicious snacks and drinks (courtesy of The Livermore restaurant), and fun socializing with the artists in the lobby. Also, I am thrilled to announce that Chamber Music Pittsburgh is planning a very special event featuring the Díaz Trio (violinist Andrés Cárdenes, violist Roberto Díaz, and cellist Andres Díaz) on March 6, 2016. The complete string trios of Beethoven will be featured in two short, backto-back concerts, with dinner with the artists served in between. This unique Beethoven celebration will take place at the opulent Twentieth Century Club in Oakland. And finally, drum roll please… Chamber Music Pittsburgh is excited to announce a third series called Pittsburgh Performs. Beginning in Fall 2015, this exceptional new series will feature and celebrate local musicians performing in unusual spaces in and around the city of Pittsburgh. More details coming soon!
