Chamber Music Pittsburgh
55th Concert Season
Greetings! Welcome to Chamber Music Pittsburgh’s 55th concert
season where the world’s most celebrated artists, rising stars,
and music lovers like you gather to share music that is intimate,
captivating, and unforgettable. Our five-concert Subscription Series
commences this fall at its home in Pittsburgh’s renowned Carnegie
Music Hall, which boasts some of the finest acoustics in the nation
– absolutely perfect for chamber music! In the meantime, Chamber
Music Pittsburgh’s third season of Just Summer is right around
the corner. In June, the series will return to the fabulous stage of
the Kelly Strayhorn Theater in historic East Liberty. This casual, genre-bending series is
sure to delight with fabulous music-making, delicious snacks and drinks (courtesy of The
Livermore restaurant), and fun socializing with the artists in the lobby. Also, I am thrilled
to announce that Chamber Music Pittsburgh is planning a very special event featuring the
Díaz Trio (violinist Andrés Cárdenes, violist Roberto Díaz, and cellist Andres Díaz) on
March 6, 2016. The complete string trios of Beethoven will be featured in two short, backto-back concerts, with dinner with the artists served in between. This unique Beethoven
celebration will take place at the opulent Twentieth Century Club in Oakland. And finally,
drum roll please… Chamber Music Pittsburgh is excited to announce a third series called
Pittsburgh Performs. Beginning in Fall 2015, this exceptional new series will feature and
celebrate local musicians performing in unusual spaces in and around the city of Pittsburgh.
More details coming soon!
