10th Annual Basha Co-Ed Track and Field Relays

Basha Track & Field will be hosting the 10th Annual Basha Co-Ed Track and Field Relays on Friday March 27th
2015. This meet will be a state qualifying meet.

Entries:
 Each school will be allowed two (2) entries per individual event and one (1) relay team in each
relay event.
 All entries will be entered at www.athletic.net.
 Entry deadline is 7:00pm Tuesday March 24th 2015.
 Individual Events: High Hurdles, 100 Dash, 1600 Run & 800m Run

ENTRY NOTES (Please Read) :
 The Throwers 4 x 100m Relay is on the direct athletics entries page. It is listed as MEN’S 4x100m
Relay #2. If you forget to enter this race, I will enter your school in that event when doing the
seeding.
 The Mascot 40m Dash is listed as MEN’S 40M Dash. Add your school’s mascots name to your team
roster and enter them in this event. Let’s see how many of you know your school’s mascots name.
Events:
 All track events will run as finals (heats against time). Reasonable effort will be made to keep same
school athletes separated in lane races. In relay races Women first, Men second.
 All Field events will consist of 2 Women and 2 Men and their combined totals will decide the event 1st,
2nd and 3rd place medal winners. Top 8 team placers will score.
 Three (3) attempts will be given in the throws and horizontal jumps.
Scoring
 Lowest combined total time (Two Men, Two Women) in the individual events will determine team
scoring in that event.
 Individual awards will still be given for top six places as in the past.
Facilities:
 8 lane all weather track surface.
 All weather runway and approach surfaces.
 Concrete throwing pads.(John Carlson – Head Field Judge)
 Lynx Timing System(Chandler – Dave Shapiro).
 Concession and restroom facilities.
 Meet T-Shirts will be available.
Awards:
 Medals will be given to the top six (6) finishers in the individual events, top four (4) finishers in the CoED field events and top four (4) in the running relays.
 Trophies will be awarded to the top two (2) Co-ED (Girl’s and Boy’s) teams.

*The 4 x 100m Throwers Relay - Order of runners: GIRL, GIRL, BOY, BOY. Each team will carry a
grocery bag of goodies to use as a baton. Each competitor in this event MUST have thrown either the shot put
or discus during the 10th Annual Basha Co-ED Relays. This event is a fun, non-scoring event, with each team
getting to keep their bag of goodies. No medals will be awarded.
**School Mascot 40m Dash – Each participating team will bring their school mascot to participate in a 40m
Dash. Each contestant must race in their school’s official mascot costume. This event is a fun, non-scoring
event for school pride. An award will be given for the fastest mascot.
