Felix Leung joined Charter in April 2015 as a senior
research analyst in the firm’s new Sydney office. He
holds a Bachelor or Economics (honours) and a
Masers of International and Development Economics
(Merit). He has previously held analyst roles at BIS
Shrapnel and at MacroPlan Dimasi.






Felix has extensive experience providing property and
economic solutions to a diverse range of clients,
specialising in the areas of detailed market analysis in
the residential, industrial and commercial sectors,
highest and best use analysis, financial modelling,
rezoning justifications and infrastructure analysis
across New South Wales and Australia.
Industry Experience.
Key Advisory, Research assignments include:

Developed a cash flow financial model for a nonprofit aged care and retirement provider at the
individual unit and village level allowing the client to
best allocate its resources and decide whether to
redevelop, refurbish or continue as usual. The
model is a probability model that forecasts 30 years
into the future and provides flexibility amongst a
host of assumptions including differences in
Deferred Management Fees (DMF) finance types
and growth rates.

Provided detailed analysis of Lend Lease
Retirement Villages and Aged Care facilities,
identifying patterns in the data, retirement unit price
forecasts and general property price movements
within each retirement and aged care facilities

Assisted the Property Council of Australia to
develop a ‘ground up’ model of quantifying the
value-add economic contributions of the property
industry to each state’s economy as well as
quantifying the number of those employed within
the property sector.

Highest and best use assignments in Chatswood,
Parramatta, Penrith, south west and north west
Sydney regions, Port Macquarie, Newcastle and
various sites around Melbourne.
