Objections/ Comments invited from various stakeholders on Petition for True-Up of FY
2013-14, Annual Performance Review of FY 2014-15 And Aggregate Revenue Requirement (ARR) for
MYT Control Period From FY 2015-16 To FY 2017-18 and Tariff Proposal for FY 2015-16 submitted by
Electricity Wing of Engineering Department (CED), UT Chandigarh
1. Notice is hereby given to various stakeholders that the Electricity Wing of Engineering Department
(CED) , UT Chandigarh engaged in Electricity Distribution and related activities has filed before the
Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) the Business Plan and MYT Petition for the control
period 2015-16 to 2017-18 for its distribution business, APR for FY 2014-15 & True Up for FY 201314 on 10.03.2015, under section 62,63 and 64 of Electricity Act 2003 and in accordance with JERC (
Multi Year Tariff ) regulation 2014, JERC (Conduct of Business) Regulation 2009 and JERC (Terms &
conditions for Determination of Tariff) Regulations 2009 as amended from time to time.
2. Interested persons may file objections/ suggestions in six copies on the above matters in person or
through registered post on or before 13.2.2015 addressed to The Secretary, Joint Electricity
Regulatory Commission (JERC) for Goa & UTs, Second Floor, HSIIDC office complex, Vanijya Nikunj,
Complex, Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon 122016 (Haryana), email: [email protected] with a copy to the
Superintending Engineer, Electricity OP Circle, Room No. 511, 5th Floor, UT Secretariat, Deluxe
Building, Sector-9D, UT Chandigarh- 1600009, email: [email protected].
3. Copies of the Business Plan & MYT petition for the control period 2015-16 to 2017-18 can be
obtained on written request from the office of the Superintending Engineer/Electricity Department,
UT Secretariat, Deluxe Building, ,5th Floor, Room No. 515, Sector 9-D, UT Chandigarh on payment
of Rs. 300/- for each set of Business Plan & MYT petition.
4. Interested parties may inspect/peruse the said Business Plan & MYT petition and take note thereof
during office hours at the offices mentioned above.
5. The detailed Business Plan and MYT petition for control period 2015-16 to 2017-18 is also available
on the website of the department www.chdengineering.gov.in and that of the commission
www.jercuts.gov.in and can be downloaded from there.
6. It should be indicated whether the objection is being filed on behalf of any organization or on behalf
of category of consumers. It is to be noted that if the sender wants to be heard in person, in which
case opportunity would be given by the Commission at the Public Hearing, which is scheduled to be
held on 18th March 2015 10:00 AM onwards at The Institution of Engineers (India),
Madhya Marg, Sector 19 A, UT Chandigarh which has been notified by the Commission.
