NOTE TO LEFT HANDERS: Since crochet is a two-handed process which uses both hands equally, all beginning crocheters feel awkward. This is your opportunity to learn lace knitting with Tracy. The Girasole pattern by Jared Flood, is a traditional lace shawl or blanket, depending upon what weight yarn you choose. Thick yarn and big needles create a cozy blanket for chilly winter nights on the couch. Ever wanted to simplify the whole knitting-in-the-round process, regardless of the project (hat, sleeve, or sock)? Then the "magic loop" method is for you!! Bring in your project, or we will demonstrate one for you. It is empowering!!!! Never use double points again—unless you want to!!! Community Service Project Black Sheep Yarn Shop has chosen the START (Striving to Achieve Recovery Together) Program as our community service project. One of the objectives of the START Program is to teach knitting to women incarcerated at the Baltimore County Detention Center. At this time, Black Sheep Yarn Shop is collecting any type of yarn and/or needles for these women. Thank you for supporting this endeavor. Additional Information: Customer are asked to purchase materials for classes from the Black Sheep Yarn Shop. Please purchase and have your yarn wound prior to date of your class. Payment for all classes is required upon registration. Class Registration closes one week before the class begins.
