From the President . . . .
Spring has sprung and everything is in bloom. I am sure we are all working on spring and summer items. To help us along we have organized a vendor night along with a member led “how to” evening. If you know a knitting technique and can share your knowledge, please let us know so we can add you to the list for the May meeting. The Help Desk will be manned all evening and we encourage you to bring your questions. No questions? That’s fine, just sit down and knit with your fellow i

members. Along with our vendors, we will have a small collection of books and needles for sale.
Last month Gale Zucker spoke to us about how to take better photos of our knitting as well as other subjects we wish to immortalize. It was an informative evening illustrated by her wonderful photography and her sense of humor
illustrated by her wonderful photography and her sense of humor.
Stash, stash and more stash; we have a way for you to reduce your stash. This year at our annual Picnic in July you will have the opportunity to sell, yup I did say sell, your stash. Just package your full skeins in a zip lock bag with your name and how much you are asking for it. Please be sure that your yarn still has the ball band attached.

Metallurgy Madness!!
Last year the Color Affection shawl was all the rage and now we have the Metallurgy
shawl by Very Busy Monkey. Suzanne Sunday and Joan Ratner model their Metallurgy
shawls – front and back at last month’s meeting. The patterns are both available on
Ravelry.
