are eight different shapes of signs.
Octagon-Stop
Triangle- Yield
Vertical Rectangle- Regulatory
Pentagon- School
Round- Railroad Crossing
Pennant- No Passing
Diamond- Warning
Horizontal- Guide
Colors
 Red-
STOP
 Yellow- Warning
 White- Regulatory
 Orange- Construction
 Black- Regulatory
 Green- Guide
 Blue- Motorist Service
 Brown- Public Recreation
Stop Signs
 Used
on a road that crosses a main
highway or a through street.
 Always come to a FULL STOP.
Yield
 Means
to allow others to use the
intersection before you do.

Right of way- if another driver on the through
street must slow or stop after you leave a stop
sign or a yield, than you have not yielded the
right of way.
Regulatory Signs
 Tells

you about laws that you must obey.
