GENERAL INFORMATION
1. DATE AND PLACE
WUSHU, KICK-BOXING and KYOKUSHIN KARATE International
Tournaments will be held from 20-26 April, 2015 in Yerevan, Armenia.
2. COMPETITION AND TRAINING VENUES
All competitions will take place in the Sports center “DINAMO” in
Yerevan.
3. COMPETITION EVENTS
Competitions will include the following events:
 Wushu - Sanda and Taolu,
 Kick-boxing – Full contact + low kick, Full contact, Semi contact,
Light contact
 Kyokushin Karate – Kumite, Kata
4. ENTRIES
4.1 Entries
Entries must be returned by fax or e-mail to the Organizing Committee of
the International Tournaments no later than 01.04.2015.

4.2 Entry Forms must be prepared and certified in duplicate.
One copy must be sent to the Organizing Committee in Yerevan, Armenia.
The other copy must be brought with the team as confirmation during team
registration in Yerevan.
4.3 All entries must be properly typed or printed in English or Russian.
They are valid only when signed by the President or Secretary General of
the respective Federation and bearing the official stamp of the Federation.
4.4 All participating teams are required to check-in at the Registration
Office in the host Hotel no later than 20.04.2015 (see General Program
table).
4.5 Each team member will be charged:
86 US$ per day per person for single room,
62 US$ per day per person for double room,
55 US$ per day per person for triple room,
52 US$ per day per person for four-bed room (limited)
50 US$ per day per person for five-bed room (limited)
The price includes 3-time meal, local transportation.
Participation fee for athletes is 30 US$.
Participants and observers are responsible for their own round trip travel
costs.
4.6 The Organizing Committee requests all participating teams to lodge at
the specified accommodation. These who do not stay at the designated hotel
will have to pay a participation fee of 100 US$ per athlete and 80 US$ per
team manager, coach or doctor. It is the responsibility of all participants to
take part in all scheduled activities on time.
4.7 Trip to Yerevan
You may contact the Organizing Committee for advice.
4.8 Entry Visas Support
To enter Yerevan (Armenia) it is necessary to have an Entry Visa.
4.9 In the countries having diplomatic and consular relations with Armenia
proper authorities in the country will officially register their demand to visit
Armenia.
4.10 If consular authorities are not present in the country the Organizing
Committee will advise individually the Federation to arrange Entry Visas
via nearest neighbor country’s Armenian Consulate. It means that
participants` passports must be sent by Post Office to proper Armenian
Consulate at the chosen country minimum 14 days before departure.
4.11 Entry Visas to the participants of the Tournament can be also opened
at Yerevan International Airport if there is no Armenian Embassy or
Consulate in participant’s country.
4.12 The Organizing Committee will provide with information about
lodging and transportation.
5. COMPETITION MANAGMENT AND TECHNICAL OFFICIALS
5.1 Traditional Wushu Federation of Armenia and World CHI-1 Golden
Belt Organization shall be responsible for the organization of the
Tournament.
5.2 Each Team can send one International Grade Judge respectively. The
International Grade Judges must present their valid certificates issued by
the responsible authority for registration.
6. WEIGHING IN CEREMONY
The Weighing in Ceremony and Draw-Lots will take place for each type of
competition according to schedule (see General Program table).
Each team may send a maximum of two representatives to attend the
ceremony.
Any athlete not present at the appointed time and place after his name has
been called three times will be regarded as a default without justification.
Attention:
Any athlete outside the weight category shown on the Final Entry
Form will be allowed to compete by paying a penalty fee of 80 US$
only.
7. DRAWING -LOTS CEREMONY
The Drawing-lots Ceremony will be conducted by the Technical
Committee. Each team may send two representatives to attend the
ceremony. The Technical Committee will draw on behalf of teams that are
unable to send a representative.
8. PLACING AND AWARDS
The top three places of each competition event will be awarded as follows:

2nd Place
3rd Place
Golden Medal & Certificate
Silver Medal & Certificate
Bronze Medal & Certificate (juxta position
for Sanda)
9. OTHER MATTERS
Each team is required to bring the following:
 National flags;
 The copy of the Entry Form;
 “Waiver of Liabilities” one for each team’s participant.
 Health Certificates of all athletes;
 Life Insurance Certificate.
10. COMPOSITION OF TEAM

WUSHU COMPETITION
TAOLU
Competitions are Individual and held in 12-14, 14-16, 16-18, 18 and above.
Each age category should perform appropriate Taolu forms.
It is allowed also to participate in Duel, Group and Traditional events.
There is no limitation of participants in age categories and styles.
Awarding will be carried out if there are 6 (six) participants in the event; in
case of less participants the Certificates will be awarded only.
The IWUF competition rules are applied to this Tournament.

SANDA
1. Competition Events
12-14 years old: 36kg, 40kg, 44kg, 48kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 70kg+
14-16 years old: 40kg, 44kg, 48kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 75+kg
16-18 years old: 48kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 80kg+
18 and above: 48kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg,
90kg, 90kg+
Sanda athletes: unlimited in any age and weight category.
KICK-BOXING
Competition Events:
10-11 years old: 25 kg, 28 kg, 31 kg, 34 kg, 37kg, 40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49, 52kg, 55kg,
55kg+, (2 rounds /1min)
12-13 years old: 28 kg, 31 kg, 34 kg, 37kg 40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49kg, 52kg, 55kg, 55kg+
(2 rounds /1,5 min)
14-15 years old: 42kg, 45kg, 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60 kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 70kg+,
(2 rounds /2 min)
16-17 years old: 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60 kg, 63kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 81kg,
86kg, 91kg, 91kg+, (3 rounds /3 min)
18 and above: 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60 kg, 63,5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 81kg,

KYOKUSHIN KARATE
Kumite:
12-13 years old: 35kg 40kg, 45kg, 50kg, 50kg+
14-15 years old: 45kg, 50kg, 55kg, 60 kg, 60kg+
16-17 years old: 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 70kg+
18 and above: 70kg, 80kg, 80kg+
Weight categories may be changed after the Technical Committee meeting.
Knock-out system will be implemented.
Youth
Preliminary bouts: 2 min + 1min + weighting + 1 min
Semi-finals, finals: 2 min + 1min + 1 min + weighting + 1 min
When weighting-in the difference in weight of athlete more than 2 kg
should be considered.
Juniors and men
Preliminary bouts: 2 min + 2 min + weighting + 2 min
Semi-finals, finals: 2 min + 2 min + 2 min + weighting + 2 min
When weighting-in the difference in weight of athlete more than 3 kg
should be considered.
Kata:
Optional Kata:
-performed by athlete choice.
Compulsory Kata:
-there are no categories
-in case of similar points new Kata should be performed
2. Participation
a. Competitors must also present a Health Certificate, issued by a
qualified doctor at least 30 days before the competitions. The
Certificate must clearly state that the competitor is in good health and
able to compete.
b. A Life Insurance Certificate.
3. Competition Methods
WUSHU
The competition will be conducted in accordance with the Rules for
International Wushu Sanda Competition endorsed in 2005.
The knock-out system will be used. If the number of competitors is 3 or
less, a single round-robin will be adopted.
KICK-BOXING
The competition will be held according to the rules of WAKO and the
Armenian National Kick-boxing Federation.
KYOKUSHIN KARATE
The competition will be held according to the international rules.
4. Costumes and Equipment (Protective Gears)
WUSHU
Competitors shall wear costumes and equipment complies with the “Rules
for International Sanda Competition”.
Only the official colored (red & black) costumes will be allowed during
Sanshou competitions. Each competitor must possess two (2) sets of
costumes: one set of black and one set of red costumes.
The competitors themselves must provide head protectors, body protectors,
gloves, shinguards, instepguards, gum-shield and jockstrap.
KICK-BOXING
Uniform and equipment should conform to the international standards.
KYOKUSHIN KARATE
The competitors themselves must provide jockstrap, shin guards for all age
categories below 18 and light gloves for all age categories below 18.
Head protectors are provided by the Organizers for all age categories below
18.
5. Other matters
a. Competitors will weight once only (Wushu).
b. The platform judge shall be very strict when conducting the fight to
avoid accidents or serious injuries.
c. Violent or vicious attacks are NOT permitted and may result in
Disqualification (Wushu).
d. The competitors are required to control their tempers, as well as their
techniques, in order to distinguish Sanda competition from other forms of
full contact fighting competitions (Wushu).
e. Athletes shall have clear uniform, precise haircut, and protective gears
(Karate).
f. All coaches are reminded to make these points very clear to their
competitors before the competitions.

in the International Tournament. I fully understand that all medical attention or
treatment afforded to me by the TWF of Armenia its officers, representatives,
volunteers, and all other related members will be of the First Aid only, and hereby

related members from any liability for such aid. I understand it is my obligation to
obtain medical coverage.
