Our Organic hand knit Baby & Children's collection is lovingly hand
knitted with 100% Certified Organic Merino wool &100% Certified
Organic Baby Alpaca yarn. Each beautiful organic garment takes
weeks of meticulous hand knitting to create our heirloom pieces.
Our vintage inspired timeless designs are one of a kind keepsakes,
to cherish as unique as your precious little ones,
with no two pieces alike. Zia & Tia is committed
to using only the purest yarns, free of
pesticides, harmful chemicals and toxic
dyes. We use 100% Certified Organic
Merino wool, spun entirely from unbleached,
3 ply or 8 ply un-dyed Merino Fleece Wool,
(cottontail (cream). Our 100% Certified Organic
colored wool is available in 6 pastel colors created
from plant & tree extracts. We invite you to visit our

unbleached & un-dyed wool without the use of pesticides or
harmful chemicals. Our soft palette of colors come from plant &
vegetable. Naturally coloured, as nature intended.

COTTONTAIL (cream) & COCOA
are the natural colors of the sheeps wool which has been
washed in a gentle detergent and then spun in the Bio gro
approved methods.
PEACH BLOSSOM
Is harvested from the Rubia plant family being a perennial
herb and sub-shrub. The plant is an essential food source
for some of the Lepidoptera family of butterflies and
moths.
VINTAGE ROSE
is made from the residue & sap from the tropical forests of
India.
SKY (blue)
is made from the Indigofera Tinctoria plant which is one of
the most ancient sources of dye for clothing.
CELADON
is a recipe using a mixture of plant extracts using the
Indigofera plant and the genus of Terminalia flowering
tree.
MELLOW YELLOW
is an extract from the Terminalia plant family creating
yellow based colors. This plant was also used by the
ancients as a medicinal treatment for heart disease such
as angina.
