Carey Oppenheim – Chief Executive of Early Intervention Foundation,
a leading organisation driving forward the case for investing in early
intervention / early help nationally.
Identifying and acting on issues as soon as they
emerge is at the heart of our Early Help strategy;
one of the three programmes of work that we are
progressing through Shaping the Future.
The Hertfordshire Families First Stakeholder event is the
first in a series of specific multi-agency events which
will focus on Early Help. The event will bring together a
wide range of strategic and operational professionals to
contribute and give their views on our initial proposals
and be part of creating a firm and lasting commitment
to shaping a sustainable Hertfordshire Early Help offer.
The event itself will be highly participative and will help
to drive our activity going forward.
About Shaping the Future
Children’s Services has launched an ambitious
programme called Shaping the Future, which aims to
improve services for children and families. By working
more effectively across our services and more closely
with our partners, we want to drive forward changes
that will help give every child the opportunity to thrive
in their families, schools and communities.
