Fourteen Basic Machine Knit Classes

The following list of classes contains the basic techniques you must know for producing garments on the knitting machine. These are basic techniques that can be used
in variations for different knit patterns. In addition, during each lesson you will learn
how to program and knit the various knitting stitches your machine can produce.
Practice each technique until it is easy for you to do.

Our lessons are self directed. You may come once a week, or once a month. You may start at any time,
however you must make a reservation for each lessons.
Lesson Reservations are limited to four students per day. Lessons are given on Wednesday, Friday, and
Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Please allow yourself at least two to three hours per lesson. If you are not
able to attend, please advise us so we can give your spot to another knitter. Please note: no lessons are
held on the second Saturday of each month.
Lessons are taken consecutively, unless other arrangements are made by the instructor.
All lesson materials are to be purchased at Newton’s Yarn Country.
