impeccable quality with value for money. All fabrics and garments processed in our facility have to
undergo stringent series of tests to ensure nothing but the best is offered to our customers. Dyed, printed
and processed fabrics are tested against quality control measures including AZO free and toxin free
chemicals.
Quality control is of utmost concern to Sine International. We have a QC team who diligently work to
ensure that our goods do not fall below the customers’ expectations. We adhere to a stringent quality
checking process which includes the following:


We have attained certifications for our factories which includes Oeko-Tex®, CTPAT & WRAP
certification as part of our continued effort to provide superior service and to be recognized as a fully
complaint manufacturer.
QUALITY ASSURANCE:

The entire merchandise product undergoes a strict scrutiny of quality. Quality merchandise does not just
come out the machines. We strive hard to produce quality items on a consistence basis; and to sustain a
high level of quality. We adhere to the quality control manuals provided by our clients.
Piece goods quality control:
We carry out approx 10% to 20% inspection of all pieces of goods prior to spreading. Four points system
are followed to classify defects. Defects classification list has been set up to simplify the language and
judgments used to make visual fabric evaluation. Rolls are segregated shade wise prior to spreading.
Cutting department quality control:

Final pattern are checked thoroughly against measurement to control spec deviation, ply numbering,
stickers and bundling is followed to control shading within lots. Random sampling is done prior to cutting
to determine shrinkage and any other characteristic that may exist in the fabric.
In –process quality control:
In line audit is carried out by qualified inspectors to correct the problem at the sewing level rather than
after the garments have been completely assembled. A separate Q.A. team independent of production has
been appointed to evaluate the quality of goods being sewn.
The in line inspection is conducted based on JC PENNY Piece Goods Inspection, where pieces are pulled
from bundle. An inspection is performed away from the operator, on a finished bundle. For bundle size up
to 180 pieces, 8 pieces are inspected. If the bundle has 1 defect the bundle is sent back to the operator
who checks all pieces in the bundle and repairs if any fault is found. After the operator has performed the
repair and inspection of the rejected bundle, immediately subsequent inspection takes place on the
operator's workstation. This monitoring continues until 3 consecutive bundles have passed. Each operator
is checked a minimum of 2 times per day.
First Check 100%:
The inspector receives the garments from thread cutter after thread cutting and checks all garments for
workmanship. Items which have passes are forwarded to ironing department, and, items failed are placed
with sticker/s to mark the failed area/operation and placed in the box for re-work. Garments, which
cannot be re-worked, are placed in rejection box.
Final Check 100%:
The final inspector receives the garments from press-man after ironing and checks all garments for
workmanship and fabric fault, stain, etc. Items which have passed are forwarded to Super Final dept, and,
items failed are placed with sticker/s to mark the failed area/operation and placed in the box for re-work.
Garments, which cannot be re-worked, are placed in rejection box.
Final Check 100%:
The Super final inspector receives the garments from Final Checkers and double checks all garments for
workmanship and other faults, items which have passed are forwarded for 100% measurement check, and,
items failed are placed with sticker/s to mark the failed area/operation and placed in the box for re-work.
Garments, which cannot be re-worked, are placed in rejection box.
Measurement Check 100%:
The Measurement inspector's receives the garments from super final inspectors and measure all garments
for critical points Like, Body Length, Chest, and Sleeve etc. items which have passed are forwarded for

folding and packing, and, items failed are placed with sticker/s to mark the failed area/operation and
placed in the box for re-work. Garments, which cannot be re-worked, are placed in rejection box.
Random final statistical audit:
Once merchandise has been duly checked/inspected by the finishing section, a final audit is carried out by
qualified QCs. Merchandise are presently audited at 2.5 AQL. Lots rejected are sent for re-screening if the
number of defective units exceeds the parameters in table 2.5 AQL.
ERP for Apparel Manufacturing:
Businesses have had to adapt to market changes and new globalization requirements to remain
competitive. To achieve a competitive advantage, we need tools to manage the manufacturing process.
ERP Software for the Apparel Industry is more complex to build than an ERP for other industries. The
Apparel Industry probably has the maximum number of variables in orders, items, and events to be
tracked etc.
We finally decided to consider developing our own ERP system adjusting it to our specific needs.
Our Production Management software which takes care of all activities from time study and production
planning till the garment is finished and packed. It smoothly integrates all the operations in a garment
factory and generates very useful MIS reports to remove bottlenecks and improve productivity.
