Turkey is an economic power and assertive voice
in the Middle East region. Bordering Syria and
Iraq, it is at the crossroads of some of the most
significant crises facing the Middle East, from the
Syrian civil war to the growth of ISIS in Iraq. Join
us for an evening with the Turkish Consul General
to discuss Turkey’s leadership role in the Middle
East, the state of Canadian-Turkish relations, and
Canada’s role in the military campaign against
ISIS from the perspective of a regional power.
