The District 65 PTO wants to thank all of you for the support of our
organization. The commitment of volunteers, parents, local businesses,
teachers, administrators and friends allows the PTO to operate.
Each year, the PTO strives to provide students and their families along
with teachers and administrators with necessary funding to enhance
learning and foster positive social relationships. During this 2013-2014
school year the PTO has organized and funded many events. Grade
level curricular enhancement opportunities have been organized K-8.
Rosalind Wiseman was brought in as the collective effort of the PTO,
Alliance for Excellence and District 65 to discuss the challenges of
pre-teens and teens and how to deal with the social and emotional
factors that play into these students’ lives. Science night introduced
students to many scientific principles and allowed them to question
how and why things work. Lastly, grade level socials foster positive
relationships between students and families that provide a supportive
network in our community.
The PTO appreciates all of your support and hopes your family has
been positively impacted by the funding of the 2013-2014 programs.
Kindly,
Anne Stewart
