How it works… Q
Your child will need to cut out the
problem for his grade level and
paste it on a plain piece of paper.
Then he should solve the problem
making sure to show the strategies
used in solving it.
There is a hanging Pendaflex file
with a folder for each grade level
hanging on the wall behind my door
(Room 303). Students will need to
place their completed math problem
with the answer clearly marked
along with their name and their
teacher’s name in the appropriate
grade level folder by Thursday of
each week.
I will check all of the entries and pick
a “Marvelous Mathematician” for
each grade level. These Marvelous
Mathematicians will be given a
certificate, have their picture taken,
and their name announced on the
LVES News. Their picture and math
work will be hung on the wall
outside of my door on their grade
level Marvelous Mathematician
poster.
Look for new Marvelous
Mathematician problems next
Friday.
