Magazine Project Overview

Body System Magazine Project (Major Test Grade)
DUE DATE:____________________________ Your Duodenum Dynamics Magazine Printing Company has been hired as the developer and
printer of a luxury magazine to advertise the Human Body Systems. Before you can collect your
fee, you must produce a magazine. The President, Mr. Seymore Sphincter, has informed you that
in order to get paid you must highlight the trendy spots, the exciting activities, and the imports
and exports of the areas. For insurance considerations, you must also discreetly mention any
possible dangers or special precautions that visitors may encounter when visiting these systems.
Your magazine should include the following systems:
(1) Circulatory, (2) Respiratory, (3) Skeletal, (4) Muscular, (5) Integumentary/Skin
(Immune), (6) Nervous, (7) Digestive, (8) Excretory
Format
● Typed or NEATLY written
● The key feature is to give an overall sense of the organization and function of each of the
systems. You may use drawings, computer graphics, and photographs of actual organs to
help in your advertisement of each system.
● This project takes the place of the final exam on the body systems unit. Time will be given
in class periodically to work on this project, however, at least half of the work will be done
outside of class.
● Project will be a magazine. It must be a “hard copy” project that will physically be turned
in on or before the above due date.
● Points will be awarded based on the criteria below, neatness, creativity, overall effort, etc.
● TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR PROJECT!
