Thursday, May 14th, 2015  Don’t forget to return any checked out books from the library or pay fines before this Friday, May 15th in order to expedite your registration for next school year. Checked out calculators from the library must also be returned immediately after your math final in order to avoid being fined. If you’re changing schools, your records will be held until all books are returned and fines are paid.  Everyone’s invited to International Night tonight from 5 to 6 in room 1149. There’ll be a variety of international food and activities to enjoy and a raffle for gift certificates to local restaurants. Food tickets are 2 dollars or simply stop by to enjoy the evening’s events for free. Students (pause) ask your language teacher for extra credit if you attend this event.  End of season boys Track & Field banquet is Tuesday evening, May 26th at 6. All athletes and family members are asked to RSVP to Coach Henry in order to secure their meal ticket. Tickets won’t be sold at the door.  Driver’s Ed is taking signups for their summer classes in June, July and August. See coach “L” in room 2108, see your grade level secretary or go to the CHS homepage and click on the Driver’s Ed link for more information. Spots are limited to 20 students per class so sign up early.  Get out and support the Boys and Girls Track & Field Teams competing at State, tomorrow and Saturday at UNM Stadium. They’d love to see you there.  All boys and girls interested in participating in cross country next school year can pick up and information sheet with more information from Coach Henry in the gym, Coach Burgener in room 1143 or Coach George in room 1120.  Anyone interested in playing football for C-H-S next school year must attend the mandatory spring parent meeting this Monday, May 18th at 5:30 in the gym.
