Join needles to start knitting in the round. K2, P2 for the cuff, approximately the length of the forearm. Once this cuff is the desired length, switch to K5, P1 for 12 rounds. Increase for thumb (left): R1: k17, m1, k1, m1, k22 R2: knit, same for every even round R3: k17, m1, k3, m1, k22 R5: k17, m1, k5, m1, k22 R7: k17, m1, k7, m1, k 22 R9: k17, m1, k9, m1, k22 2S R11: k17, m1, k11, m1, k22 R13: k17, slide next 14sts onto stitch holder, CO 2sts, knit to end of round (40sts) Knit every round until desired length is reached (about 8-9â’) between the first and second knuckle of the ring finger.
