This course is designed for primary care physicians, including specialists in family practice, internal medicine, and pediatrics; clinical microbiologists; pharmacists, nurses; and individuals in training for these careers. Lectures and interactive workshops will provide an update on the current, state-ofthe-art diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases that commonly arise in adults and/ or children in the community and which would routinely be encountered by primary care physicians in the Midwest. Course syllabus materials will be emailed as a link to registered participants the week of the conference. CDs will also be available the day of the conference. Print copies of the syllabus will not be provided. You are encouraged to download or print materials you wish to use in advance. You may also bring your laptop. A limited number of outlets are available so you are encouraged to have a fully charged battery. Registration Fees The fee is $250 for physicians and $175 for allied health care professionals. REGISTRATION GENERAL INFORMATION Purpose and Intended Audience This course is designed for primary care physicians, including specialists in family practice, internal medicine, and pediatrics; clinical microbiologists; pharmacists, nurses; and individuals in training for these careers. Lectures and interactive workshops will provide an update on the current, state-ofthe-art diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases that commonly arise in adults and/ or children in the community and which would routinely be encountered by primary care physicians in the Midwest. Registration Fees The fee is $250 for physicians and $175 for allied health care professionals. UI clinical-appointment/adjunct faculty, retired or emeritus physicians, and UI faculty may register for $125. Please see registration form for other fee categories.
