In conjunction with April, National Safe Digging Month,
Marathon Pipe Line LLC is sponsoring a poster contest. Your child is
invited to create a poster to raise awareness and to promote the
“Call 811 before you dig” message. The poster that best represents
safe digging will be selected to win a $50 Walmart gift card. Please write your
child’s name and contact information on the back of the poster. Return
the completed poster to the Children’s Museum of Findlay by April 30, 2015.
The winning poster will be announced on May 4, 2015.
Digging without calling can disrupt service to an entire neighborhood, harm
you and those around you, and potentially result in fines and repair costs.
Calling 811 before you begin every digging job gets your underground utility
lines marked for free and helps prevent undesired consequences.
