The 2 Seater Newsletter
JULY 2015
Eurocar 2015 has come and gone...
the small parking lot as well as the
road was filled with participant cars
which just adds to the excitement of
Eurocar.
Eurocar 2015 has come and gone.
Overall it was a great day. A
weather report not in our favor,
a couple of sprinkles here and
there and 5 minutes of rain in the
early afternoon still did not deter
many participants and spectators
from showing up. A very hearty
bunch aren’t we all. I tried to get
around and talk with many of the
participants as well as many of the
spectators and what I got was good
vibes from everyone. People love
coming to our show, I talked with a
few newbies some that heard about
our show just this year and others
who usually go to another father’s
day show elsewhere, all saying what
a great show we have! Looking
across the street towards the lake,
Tony Visciglio and his crew of
volunteers did a fabulous job
of bringing together the many
responsibilities, tasks, and duties
to make a venue such as Eurocar
so successful, a big thanks to that
crew. A huge thanks go out to
all members who volunteered
day of show, as well as who were
able to contact vendors for door
prizes, sponsorship along with all
the other tasks that needed to get
done. Without the help of all of
our membership, Eurocar would not
be the success it is. Eurocar is the
Father’s Day destination for many,
year after year. We truly have the
most unique vehicle show for miles
and miles around. Now we can all
rest and enjoy the rest of the summer
taking trips and driving our cars.
Speaking of driving our cars, look
inside this month’s newsletter for
our list of upcoming activities along
with our first August “golf-ice creamdinner outing.”
What a great
evening that will be. For those who
go to Watkins Glen in September,
don’t forget that the vintage auto
racing at Watkins Glen has been
moved from the second week of
September to the fourth weekend
of July. The Stone Bridge Drivers
events are still on for the second
weekend of September, as usual,
along with many other additional
activities the Grand Prix Festival
committee has planned.
Till next month, drive till you need
gas, then drive more.
