 Class Schedule for 2015
All classes are held at Coliseum Medical Center Prepared Childbirth Class: Meets Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 Noon. This class covers diet, exercise, medications, inductions, labor & delivery, cesarean sections and postpartum care. January 3 February 7 March 7 April 4 May 2 June 6 July 11 August 1 September 5 October 3 November 7 December 5 Newborn Care Class: Meets Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon. This class covers baths, safety issues, diapering, normal newborn patterns, signs of illness and when to call your pediatrician. Breastfeeding Class: Meets Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This class covers the benefits of breastfeeding, latching on, positioning techniques and what to expect the first few weeks after delivery. January 17 February 21 March 21 April 18 May 16 June 20 July 18 August 15 September 19 October 17 November 21 December 19 Fathers to be or significant others are invited and encouraged to attend any of the classes above. All classes are FREE; however, you do need to register prior to coming to the class. We reserve the right to cancel any class due to low registration.
