DUNDEE ART SOCIETY SUMMER EXHIBITION 2015 INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCHOOL EXHIBITORS Handing in paintings – Saturday 30th May 9.30-12.00 noon at Roseangle Gallery, 17 Roseangle, Dundee DD1 4LP Private View - Saturday 6th June at 11am to which exhibitors, family and art teachers are invited. Exhibition runs from Saturday 6th June to Saturday 13th June. Open 11.00 a.m.to 5.00p.m. daily. Collection of paintings-Sunday 16th June 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm* The Roseangle Cup will be presented to the winner during the Private View. ConditionsTwo paintings may be entered per school. Paintings must have a label with name, title, school, contact number and price(if applicable) attached to back. Pictures must be properly framed or prepared for exhibition ( box canvas is ok, clip frames are not). Pictures should be strung and able to be hung. Exhibitors agree to donate 20% of sales to D.A.S. In cases of dispute the matter will be considered by the council of D.A.S. whose ruling will be final. *Work not collected within six weeks of the end of the exhibition will be deemed the property of the society. Exhibitors should note that work is not covered by the society’s insurance and may wish to make their own arrangements.
