Each torch is made of a different type of wood symbolizing the person’s personality and talent. Join us at the campfire on Saturday night to honor the newly selected Torchbearers. SWAPS Keepsakes for Girl Scouts SWAPS, the tradition of Girl Scouts exchanging keepsakes, started long ago when Girl Scouts and Girl Guides first gathered for fun, song, and making new friends. SWAPS stand for Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere. SWAPS are still the perfect way for Girl Scouts to meet each other and promote friendship. Feel free to bring SWAPS to exchange with others. Thank you to the 2014 Farnsworth Weekend Committee!
