Info Sheet -‐ College Night Stockholm Monday, March 16th, 2015 from 4:00 -‐ 7:00 p.m. Viktor Rydberg gymnasium -‐ Frejgatan 30*, 113 49 Stockholm (on the corner of Norrtullsgatan) Getting to Stockholm: Arriving the day before the fair (Sunday) is recommended, to allow for unforeseen travel delays. Airport transfers: Most major airlines fly to and from Stockholm Arlanda. There are a few ways to travel between Stockholm City and Stockholm Arlanda Airport, but we recommend using the ARLANDA EXPRESS, a high-‐speed train that is not only fast (20 mins to city centre), but offers a comfortable & stylish ride! A return ticket costs 490 SEK ($58) and can be bought on their website or at the airport. A taxi from Arlanda to the city centre costs around 450-‐520 SEK ($55-‐65). An important note on taxis in Stockholm: Taxi fares in Sweden are not regulated, which unfortunately means there are many companies who will take advantage of those unfamiliar with the system. If you must take a taxi, always check the yellow price sticker on the rear window! Here are some helpful tips on choosing a taxi in Stockholm. Reputable companies include Taxi Stockholm (15 00 00), Taxi 020 (020-‐20 20 20) and Taxi Kurir (08-‐30 00 00).
