HOW TO GET: From the AIRPORT to the CONFRATERNITÄT (Privatklinik Josefstadt) Haspingergasse 6; or Skodagasse 32 A-1080 Wien Phone: +43 (0) 40 114 0 Public Transportation: BUS: There is an airport bus shuttle service called “Vienna Airport Lines”. From 06:00 a.m. – 23:59 p.m., every 20 minutes to the city center. (From the city center to the airport from 05:00 a.m. – 23:00 p.m.) Take the bus shuttle until “Westbahnhof”, then change to tram 5 (direction: Praterstern) and get off at the station “Laudongasse”. From there it is a 2-minute walk to Haspingergasse 6 (Confraternitaet). Single Bus Ticket: 6 Euro, Return Ticket: 12 Euro. TRAIN: CAT: http://www.cityairporttrain.com//langen/ Non-stop in only 16 minutes to “Wien Mitte” (BUT: More expensive than bus!). Every half-hour. Easy. Fast. Comfortable. Please visit the CAT website for further information and schedule. From „Wien-Mitte“ take metro U4 (direction: Heiligenstadt) until the station “Friedensbrücke”. There change to tram 5 (direction: Westbahnhof) and get off at „Laudongasse“. From there it is a 2-minute walk to Haspingergasse 6 (Confraternitaet). Please find map above. Single CAT Ticket: € 11, Return Ticket: € 17. As per 30_01_13 In addition to the Vienna Airport Lines or CAT ticket, you will need another ticket for the regular public transport facilities (e.g. metro, tram), which costs € 2 for one ride. TAXI: AIRPORT TAXI: http://www.airportdriver.at/index.php?lang=en&id=1 There you can order a taxi including one stop to go from the Airport to Confraternitaet (to pick up your room keys and welcome folder) to your apartment for a fixed price (app. 40 €) called: "Economy Line". Just follow the instructions. Important: - select Cash Payment (you have to pay for the taxi yourself) - book at least 48 hours in advance - you have to receive an e-mail with the booking confirmation, otherwise it is not booked.
