ADDI straight knitting needles sizes 3(US 3) and 4(US 6). 1 flexible knitting needle size 4(US 6). 1 snap. Cable needles. Pattern Pattern Pattern Pattern Pattern I:With needles size 4(US 6): Work the Ajour pat acc to chart. The chart shows the RS rows. In the WS rows work sts as they face you, p the yo. Cont rep rows 1-10. II:With needles size 4(US 6): Work Ajour pat acc to chart. The chart shows the RS rows. In the WS rows work sts as they face you, p the yo. Work rows 1-20 then cont rep rows 11-20. III:With needles size 4(US 6): Work Ajour pattern acc to chart. The chart shows the RS rows. In the WS rows work sts as they face you, p the yo. Work rows 1-10, then cont rep rows 3-10. IV:With needles size 4(US 6): Work the cable over 10 sts. Rows 1, 3, 5 and 7: k all sts. Row 2 and all foll rows: Work sts as they face you. Row 9: Cross 10 sts towards left (put 5 sts on 1 cable needle held in front of work, k the foll 5 sts, then k the sts on cable needle. Cont reprows 1-10. V:With needles size 4(US 6): k2, p2. Gauge: Pat II, needles size 4(US 6): 25 sts = 10 cm (4”) wide 26 rows = 10 cm (4”) length Left front part: Cast on 61(69/75) sts. Work pat I acc to chart, at the same time beg after the edge st at arrow A(B)A, work the Repeat 2 times and end before the edge st at arrow c(b/b). k all sts of the 10th row = folding edge, at the same time with the folding edge at the left edge cast on another 11 sts = 72(80/86) sts. Cont working in pat I, at the same time always work the last 10 sts before the edge st in pat IV (closing band). At 27 cm/10¾” from cast on edge cont working in pat II = 70(75/83) sts after the 10th row. Work the dec and pat change same as for back but end the cable of the band at the changeover to pat III, for this in every 2nd row k2 tog 5 times before the edge st = 47(52/57) sts. Then for the neckline at the left edge and before the edge st sl 1, k1, psso 9 times in every 4th row + sl 1, k1, psso 3 times in every 6th row(sl 1, k1, psso 12 times every 6th row/sl 1, k1, psso 13 times in every 6th row). Work the armhole and shoulder at the right edge at the same length as for back. Right front part: Work the same as for the left part but reverse shaping and at the same time for the neckline after the edge st k2 tog. Sleeves: Cast on 69(80/91) sts. Work pat III acc to chart, at the same time beg after the edge st at arrow A(B/A), work the Repeat 2 times(3 times/2 times) and end before the edge st at arrow a(b/a). Beg with the 3rd row of chart and cont rep rows 3-10. k the 10th row = folding edge. Cont working in pat III. At 24 cm/9½” from folding edge (measure hanging) inc 1 st on both sides, then in every 8th row inc 1 st 8 times = 79(90/101) sts. Sleeve cap: At 40 cm/15¾” from folding edge (measure hanging) bind off on both sides in every 2nd row 4 sts once, then on both sides cont dec 1 st until a length of 15(16/16) cm/6”(6½”/6½”) has been reached. In the last row of pat leave out the yo. Loosely bind off the rem sts. Tie: With needles size 4(US 6) cast on 6 sts, work in pat V. At an approx length of 160(160/170) cm/62”(67”/67”) bind off sts. Back: Loosely cast on 133(147/159) sts. Work in pat I acc to chart, and at the same time after the edge st beg at arrow A(B/A), work the Repeat 4 times(5 times/5 times) and end before the arrow a(b/a). k all sts of the 10th row = folding edge, then cont working in pat I. At 27 cm/10¾” from cast on edge (measure hanging) cont working in pat II = 128(141/153) sts after the 10th row. At 57 cm/22½” from cast on edge (measure hanging) cont working in pat III = 113(125/135) sts after the 1st row. End part acc to chart in pat III. Shape armholes: At 65(63/61) cm/25½”(24¼”/24”) from cast on edge bind off in pat II on both sides in every 2nd row 4 sts once and dec 1 st 7 times(10 times/11 times) = 91(97/105) sts. Shape shoulders: At 20(22/24) cm/7¾”(8¾”/9½”) armhole length bind off on both sides in every 2nd row 8 sts 3 times(8 sts once + 9 sts 2 times/9 sts once + 10 sts 2 times). Shape neck: At the same time as beg shoulders bind off the middle 29(31/33) sts and on both sides thereof bind off in every 2nd row another 4 sts once, 3 sts once. Finishing: Sew seams. Collar: With the flexible needle size 3(US 3) pick up approx 168(178/186) sts from the WS (from left front part 62(66/69) sts, from around back 44(46/48) sts, right right part 62(66/69) sts. Mark the middle 44(46/48) sts. With needles size 4(US 6) work in pat V, and at the same time work shortened rows as foll: Row 1 (RS): Work 106(112/116) sts, turn, 1 yo. Row 2: Work 44(46/48) sts, turn, 1 yo. Row 3: Work 50(52/54) sts turn, 1 yo. Row 4: Work 56(58/60) sts turn, 1 yo. Cont adding 6 sts more to each side until all sts have been worked, at the same time cont work the yo tog with the foll st. As soon as the shortened rows are finished work another 2 rows over all ss. Then on the RS of collar work 3 sts out of every st (= k1, 1 yo, k1), p1 and k1,then on WS of collar loosely bind off all sts. Fold the cast on edge of closing bands half over to WS and sew on tog with the hem at the folding edge. Pull the tie through the cables of the last cable of pat II. Fit in Sleeves.
